Went to my friend’s house and played some texas hold’em today, we played about 3 tournies and i won one and got second place in two of them. I have to say, i am a conservative player, like dan harrington. I tend to win quite a bit when i play with friends, but whenever i hit the casinos (vegas, ac,etc) I lose a lot. I think it has to do with the environment. I get very very nervous in public gambling places because the stake is high and everyone is so serious. Whereas couple friends get together, shooting the shit, talk about random stuff, joking around, no one is playing like their life is on the line.

Having said that, my dream is to one day play in the world series of poker. $10k buy-in, and a chance to win 10million+, wow!! Every poker player’s dream. You know what, i think getting into the final table at WSOP is like getting to top ten in golf, every time there is someone new. (of course, until tiger came along). So everyone has a chance, even newbies. If i was lucky that 10 days of playing time. Who knows, i might just win it all.

P.S. i am actually just going to be happy if i make it to top 20. LoL
